When does the clinic open?
In two stages. Virtual visits start October 6, 2026 and can be scheduled today. The in-person clinic on Mallard Creek Road opens in November 2026.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes. Scheduling is open now for virtual visits starting October 6. Patients who start with us virtually move smoothly to in-person care at our Mallard Creek Road office when it opens in November, or stay virtual if they prefer.
How do I schedule an appointment?
Book online at any time, or call 704-412-8297 Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Existing patients can also use the patient portal.
Why is Magnusson Clinic independent?
Magnusson Clinic is owned by its physician, not by a hospital system or corporation. This means fewer layers between you and your doctor, more flexibility in how care is delivered, and no hospital facility fee. Many hospital-owned clinics add a facility fee to each visit, which can raise what patients pay without changing the care they receive.
What services will you provide?
Comprehensive primary care for adults, including same-day sick visits, preventive and wellness exams, women's health, diabetes and chronic disease management, mental health support, joint and steroid injections, and skin biopsies and cryotherapy. We have an in-house lab through Quest Diagnostics, and LabCorp is across the street. If you have a question about a specific condition or service, call or email us and we will tell you whether it falls within our scope.
What insurance do you accept?
Which plans are accepted, and when will more be added?
We accept Original Medicare and Aetna, including Aetna Medicare Advantage. At this time, Aetna is the only Medicare Advantage plan we accept.

How much does a self-pay visit cost?
$149 per visit. This is a fixed price for any visit type, virtual or in person.
How do virtual visits work?
Virtual visits are by video with Dr. Magnusson, starting October 6, and you can schedule today. They are available to adult patients located in Mecklenburg, Gaston, or Lincoln County at the time of the visit. Where is the clinic located?
10320 Mallard Creek Road, Suite 271, Charlotte, NC 28262, in the Mallard Creek area of north Charlotte. The office opens to patients in November 2026.
What are the hours?
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Closed weekends and major holidays.
What should I do if I need care after hours?
Our office is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Outside of these hours, please visit an urgent care center for urgent concerns. For a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. If you are in crisis or having thoughts of harming yourself, call or text 988. Non-urgent questions can wait until the next business day; call us at 704-412-8297.
Is Dr. Magnusson board-certified?
Yes. Dr. Andreas Magnusson is board-certified in Family Medicine with seven years of clinical experience.
What languages does Dr. Magnusson speak?
English and Swedish.
Do you use stock photos or AI on your website?
No. Every photo on this website shows our real team and our real clinic, taken by us. We do not use stock images, AI-generated images, or professional photo shoots, so you know exactly who you will see and where before you arrive.
Do you see children or pediatric patients?
No. Magnusson Clinic is an adult-only practice. If you need a pediatrician, we are happy to point you toward a trusted provider in the Charlotte area.
